What are Residential Supports?

Residential Supports provides individualized services in a Group Home or Alternative Family Living setting to help individuals live as successfully and independently as possible. This service is designed to support health, safety, daily living, skill development, and active community involvement in a residential environment that reflects each person’s needs and preferences.

Supports may include supervision, assistance with daily activities, and opportunities to learn, practice, or maintain important life skills. Residential Supports is centered on helping each individual increase self-sufficiency, strengthen self-determination, and experience full membership in the community. The goal is not only to provide care, but to create a stable, supportive home environment where people can grow and thrive.
