Specialized I/DD Enhanced Supportive Housing
Specialized Enhanced Supportive Housing (SESH) was developed specifically for individuals with a dual diagnosis of intellectual or developmental disabilities and mental health conditions, in partnership with the managed care organizations (MCOs). SESH programs are transitional — designed to help stabilize diagnoses and prepare people to live independently or in a community-based environment. Support Solutions BCBAs and RBTs use Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Applied Behavior Analysis to make this possible.

Is this institutional?
No. SESH homes are person-centered residential settings, not institutions. They simply provide more support than standard residential options.
Can a person move out of SESH later?
Yes, when the team and person determine a lower level of support fits better. Some individuals step down to other Support Solutions services over time.
