Frequently asked questions
How much notice do you need for planned respite?
As much as possible — ideally a few weeks for longer planned breaks. Shorter requests are often workable too; reach out and we'll see.
Is emergency respite available?
Yes, when there's availability. Emergencies are unpredictable so we can't promise a slot, but we plan for them as best we can.
Where does respite happen?
In the person's home, or in another approved setting, depending on the plan and the situation.
